July 8, She was invited by Reana to watch the dance practice along with Zoey.
July 10, Reana brought Maia and Zoey with her to the studio again through instruction of Tsunku. Tsunku held a private audition for the 2 of them. They both passed.
July 13, During Believe! Morning Musume Concert Tour ~Twintails~ her unit along with Zoey was announced to be called "Chiisana" and they were also introduced in that concert.
